Tai Chi is Back
It has been an exciting educational tai chi summer back in Michigan. My instructor at “Michigan Tai Chi Association has helped me to improve my tai chi and given me a lot to work on here over the winter. It has also been my honor to have been promoted to an Instructor in “Michigan Tai Chi Association”.

20 years martial arts experience (Tai Chi is a form of martial art), 5 of those years as instructor.

I will present the Tai Chi form of Master Moy Lin Shin ( Taoist ). Master Moy introduced his tai chi form with the goal to improve the health of all who would practice and follow his teachings.
EVERYONE : MEN, Women, young and older. ANY QUESTIONS REARDING YOUR ABILITY TO PERFORM THESE SLOW GENTLE MOVEMENTS CAN ONLY BE ANSWERED BY YOU AND YOUR PHYSICIAN !!!!
First 20 minutes: Foundation exercises, slowly and gently working all muscle groups and joints with an emphasis on deep breathing and relaxation.
Second 20 minutes: From the beginning, step by step learning the form of Master Moy Lin Shin. Demonstrating and practicing each movement in order, emphasizing stance, direction, hand and foot position all in order to provide the most physical benefit.
Final 20 minutes: Connecting the learned movements into the relaxed continuous flowing form known as Tai Chi.
Starting Monday October 19, 2015, classes will be held on Mondays at 9:00 am and Thursdays at 11:00 am in the ballroom.
Many health sources can be found to support the claimed benefits of Tai Chi. Tai Chi has been show to improve ones flexibility, coordination, relaxation, balance, and blood oxygenation. It has also been shown to reduce blood pressure and heart rate.
